Whitney Mannies Political Theory

Starting in the fall of 2023, I will be an Assistant Professor in the Department of Politics and Global Citizenship at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio. I am currently teaching at the California Polytechnic University at Pomona. I received my PhD in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside. My research concentrates on modern political thought (particularly the French Enlightenment), eighteenth-century feminism, and the intersection of political theory and literature. My dissertation investigates the consequences of the style and form of texts for political and philosophical knowledge.
